                Did you know that 1 in 4 home sellers is currently over the age of 65 and 40% of the population is serving as a caregiver to an older adult?  These statistics were very enlightening and helped to validate the Beecher and Beecher Real Estate Team’s decision to expand their business by adding a division especially catering to seniors.

                The Beecher and Beecher Real Estate Team is very excited to announce that Ronna Beecher has recently enrolled in an upcoming advanced seniors real estate course to become better equipped in serving mature home buyers and sellers in the Shreveport-Bossier City area.  As someone who has always been very passionate about serving seniors, Ronna has first-hand experience, both personally and professionally, when it comes to the complexities involved in helping senior clients downsize and relocate.

                The first step Ronna will be taking in order to further her education is to earn the prestigious Certified Senior Housing Professional (CSHP) designation, awarded by the Seniors Real Estate Institute out of Austin, Texas.  CHSP’s are held to very high standards when it comes to serving older adult clients and families.  CHSP’s are expected to assemble a comprehensive network of qualified aging services professionals and better familiarize themselves with the many emotional issues faced by seniors adults and their families during late-life moves.

In order to gain even MORE knowledge, the Beecher and Beecher Real Estate Team is 

reaching out to all of their past, present, and future clients in order to connect with people who:

1.    May know key professionals who work really well with seniors (in a variety of fields), or

2.  Would be willing to share their personal experience with the Beecher and Beecher Real Estate Team (either their own move or helping an aging parent or relative).

The more insights and resources the Beecher and Beecher Real Estate Team 
has, the better they will become at serving the needs of older adult 
clients and their families as a part of their real estate practice!
